i think i can help. what limerick fc need to do is arrange a big match against a top european side. does anyone think sammy allerdyce would like to play limerick fc in a friendly match? i bet he will not want to see limerick dissappear. what about real mardid? limerick played them in the cup winners cup in the early 80's and might be keen for a match, they did play derry city a few seasons back. what the supporters club have to do is to find a venue for these one off matches to be played in, like thoumand park or markets field where limerick can get the gate. everything will have to go to the supporters club and they should take over the club and run it them selves. i will e mail some clubs regarding a one off match for limerick with permission of the supporters club. if limerick can generate 100,000 euro between the 2 matches that will be grate. the supporters club hold the money for an eventual takeover of the club. this is the only way i can see limerick surviving but we have to band toegher and help out the club lets arrange a match what do u think??

Sam from Bolton has spoken about Limerick recently and I feel he should be told about the current situation. Thomand Park will be available, from what Mick O'Sullivan said a while back, for a one off match. As far as I am concerned e-mail away we have nothing to lose and thanks for the help
