Bit of magic on the wing from McGeady. Cross could have been better though.

We're toothless in central midfield so far, totally uncompetitive. If we can get this sorted it'd improve the whole team.
Carsley can't pass to save his life. Possession is almost guaranteed to break down when he's on the ball. All our balls to the front two are speculative long balls. I reckon Garvan & O'Toole from last night would do a better job than Carsley & Miller. Doyle's touch has been poor on the couple of occasions a ball has been sent his way.
Hopefully Potter can bring others into play.
Quite boring so far, glad I didn't pay to watch it. Atmosphere sounds terrible from an Ireland point of view too, can only hear Brazil fans.

Carsley is doing okay, it´s not in his job discription to be spraying the passes, he has covered the ground and got in a few clatters
