he would bring some experience of eircom league football. if he does put in the effort he could be a very good player for us alright. i wonder what the athlone fans thought of him last season. Also you could draw comparisions with the difference in Kevin Waters 2 seasons ago and Kevin Waters last season, he was a total different player. i think this was maybe due to the fact he was given more freedom to play last year than when he played under o'connor. maybe something similar could be the case wih heffernan if he was given more freedom to play.

All of Limerick's squad have played schoolboy/Junior Football in the past so whats your point?There is a different transfer date if Limerick want to sign players from another Senior club and if Limerick want to sign a player from a Junior club. I think the one on Wednesday is the one from Junior clubs.
