future is bright. a lot of those players playing yesterday will be playing super league. the bench looked very strong and celtic were missing two of the starting eleven and still managed to blow corrib celtic away and they are one of the best teams in galway

Premier League start is postponed to the 12th of April Due to Erris in the Semi on the 5th. Does anyone know if the Celtic Connaught Cup Match will also be changed from the 5th? I know its an away match so it should not effect the fixtures.

    No, Game should go ahead.

Any word on the Westports silly protest. It really lets the club down this appeal. I just wondering what Connacht FA rules have West broken. None as far I know.

I wounld niot give the wesport crew the satisfaction of mentioning this any lionger as it only gives fule for the non existing fire. They need to take off the Roes tinted glasses and see the bigger picture. If only people protseted as much about our so called Govt Officals and the state OUR country is in we would be fine. Take a look at how our heath and education services are in bother and then perhaps life could be put in perspective for a lot of people. They lost the match tough !!!! and move on

Would you ever shut up about the health care system? This is a football forum, so talking about the Westport objection is a lot more appropriate than moaning about the State of the Country. Altough I can see your gripe with the education system: you clearly never learned to spell.

That was a typo, as I can only presume your lack of a space after a comma was. Twice. And lack of quotation marks around 'although'. It is quite nice.

Eh, this is a Castlebar Celtic thread so talking about Westport isn't really appropriate.

And I dont care if you didn't start it, you contributed to it being off topic.

    u13s

U13s are through to quarter final of the sfai cup. beat wicklow rovers on penalties after a 2-2 draw and are at home to shelbourne in the last eight.
i have to say that this team is probably the best team in the club and deserve every succes that they get. they have a great chance of reaching the final. well done to all involved

    big games

two big games at the weekend.

saturday 2pm u13s at home to shelbourne in quarter final of national cup.

sunday 2pm seniors away to castlerea in semi final of connaught cup.

should be two good games and a big celtic support would be a massive help in what will be two very difficult encounters.
having said that, im gonna predict two celtic victories.
