    Congrats to Dave Mooney on winning the player of the year award tonight at the FAI awards ceremony, well deserved

    Yeah I believe there is a fee in that region on its way.It's something I suppose.

    Ive been reliably informed that some players will definetly be signing the day of the rovers game. Apparently players have been told when to train and when not to train such is the large amount of players on trial with us. Hopefully we can find a good number of decent players!! The quality iun the first division is well below that of the premier so with the right signings dont rule out promotion just yet although we will probably not get above Dundalk!!

    well done moons well deserved.. pity the relegation overrode it... he will do well at cork.. moons will be always a legend at flansiro along with lavine ,stewie byrne ,vinny perth, kirbs over the last ten yrs

    see few other ex town players were up for awards as well..

    brian shelley( 2002) for player of the year
    seamus crowe(2002) for junior player of the year
    derek jordan(1994) for sports for one player of the year( nominated by the Irish deaf soccer team)
    Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?
