    Conor McDonald

he's still on the kildare website, but is he still playing for ye?
I’m not pedantic...I’m merely overly concerned with minute details.

I can honestly say I do not remember him playing once for us.

I'm not sure how many times he did play for ye, if at all. Did he not announce he was going to retire from football shortly after joining ye on loan (couldn't possibly comment on what that might say ). Apparently he's a bit Ireland-esque.
Then he got himself badly injured - long-term like, enough to give the Blues pause to think about re-signing him for this season according to our PRO - and that is usually reason enough for terminating a loan if it hadn't already been done.
I'd say, wherever he is, it's not with Kildare anymore.

He played with County three times. Then went off to the World Student Games with the Irish team around August last year. I heard he announced that he was retiring from Soccer after that.

He never played with Kildare County after that anyway. Never seen him since.

That's right, it was after the Student Games he decided to jack it all in.
I've been told that wasn't the first time he's said or done something a bit, eh, erratic like that alright.
He did get badly injured though, it's in the back of my mind that he broke his leg but it was certainly something serious, and long-term, like that. Don't know who he was with when that happened, or if it was in training, or what.
