Its better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it

Well done. Still think the league should come down harder on hollister. I can bet that every team that goes down there this season will find a terrrible pitch no dugouts and no changing facilties. Same aul story in division 2. But as long as we keep the super league half ok and send our best teams to the Junior stage we look good!!! Anyhow well done Cross

This match was in Glencorrib, excellent new facilities here, new dugouts, new changing rooms, pity we had to sell our soul (almost) to get use of them!!

Good win alright. Favourites? Definately in the top two or three. Should be in the shake up come September. Town have a decent side this year and with a bit of luck they could finally get out off Div2. Goals yesterday for Paul Maye, Lee Maloney, Dermot Hynes and Kev Sheeran.

yea snugboro and clew bay drew 0-0, very poor 1st half by both sides, 2nd half started in a down pour of hail stones which made conditions very bad, 2 undisputed penalties for boro, goal keeper saved the 1st and the 2nd went wide. new striker for clew bay caused boro alot of problems at the back and had the best of the open play chances. overall id say boro will be more disappointed with the point considering the missed penalties

    Celtic C 3 - 2 Ballyvary BB

A game that we threw away. Went one down after about 15 mins but then dominated the rest of the half and had equalised by half time. Dominated the first 25 mins of the second half and had a number of wasted chances. Got a fairly fortunate penalty to go 2-1 ahead and then pressed the self destruct. Gave away a silly goal and then a penalty (handball on the line).

Well done NoelM. The pitch and facilities are excellent. Good luck in year ahead. Could not get to the game. Was there many spectators?

Thanks a lot, yes good crowd, most stayed in the cars or huddled in the dugouts as the weather wasn't too kind!

The real facts: Celtic dominated the the first half and should have been at least two up at half-time. BBB scored a goal on the break good finish just before half time. Yes BBB dominated the first 30 minutes of the 2nd half and Celtic stuggled to get the ball out of their own half, but they didnt creat one decent chance and scored from a peno (deffo peno, push in the back) and looked that they would win handy. Good spirit showed by Celtic and got the rub of the green with their two goals. Based on the whole 90 minutes BBB deserved at least a draw, maybe more? but dont tell me you dominated the first half when you were on the back foot from 10th - 35th min. Once you scored your break away goal after Celtic missed a certain goal inside the 6 yrd box, it didnt look good for Celtic. I was disappionted with BBB, cant see them getting out of this Div with this squad, one or two OK players but not stong enough at the back. Celtic will need to get their young lads up if they have any hope of competiting in this Div but would be happy with the fighting spirit and the result.

Seen that game alright thought bombers were unlucky, they gave away two very soft goals when they were winning2-1, hard to play in those conditions tho.

Played with Town a couple of seasons ago. Nice little player. Usually on the wing.
