    Gaz to Dublin City

Echo, that font of no-ledge, suggests that Gaz is linked with Dublin City. This would be a sad end to what was hailed as a great return last season. But it's no surprise really.

Dolan has Woods, Hoggie, Hedderman and even Lally at Left back
    and
Dan, Benno, K Murray, Napier, Daly, Hedderman and Andrews at centre back.

Much as I liked him as a player I don't think he'll be missed based on his form ober the last year. He had his chance with Dolan for a few games but must not have impressed.

    Best of luck Gaz

yeah, wish him luck and all that.

like you said we've plenty cover and it might be the first of dolan's squad trimming (more to come if the warren and andrews to queenstown on loan pans out).

    Gaz

Are City being paid, or is it a freebie? Sorry it didn't work out but good to see Dolan trimming de wage bill. Could be good for Warren and Andrews to be playing regular to hopefully impress.

I think it was always on the cards that more of the part-time players would be leaving the squad sooner or later.

Working in dublin & playing for city was always going to make it hard for him.

and gaz already trains with dublin city so its a good move for him ..never a fan of his.. always felt that napps carried him last year, there`s another defender who could be on his way out contract up in nov. and hasn`t played a game in 2 years with a serious injury

but to gaz na na na na ..........na na na na .....hey hey hey good bye.

Anyone who slags of Gareth Cronin is obviously a new convert to city as no one who watched city during his first stint at the club could criticise his performances.

I was glad to see him back, and he played very well for us last season. Good luck Gaz, and I hope you're stint at the other City is a good one.
You never know, a cup game could happen!

As Oisin Langan mentioned about ten times on Monday Hoggie has finished his exams.

AFAIK He is pro with City now.

AFAIK Hoggie was doing the Law Conversion Course in DIT. If he's going to go through with it he'll have another few years of exams in Dublin and he'd also have to do work experience.

You'd think he would go and play for one of the Dublin clubs considering he goes to college there.

Not that I want him to it's just he would get his game.
I'm gonna take a blow torch to everyone who writes "any info on......." on the desks in the ucc library.

I thought that the course was only a 1 year one though. Couldnt he do his work experience in Cork? Would he have to sit his other exams in Kings Inn then?

I hope he goes pro with us, he's our best half back IMO

Tis a shame that Gaz is leaving, but he wasnt as good for us this time around, was a class left back in his day though (although I always felt that he didnt perform well in high pressure games).
As I say, we're just young & a bit nieve.

Hoggie's options depend on whether he want to be a Solicitor or a Barrister. Both involve some time in Dublin, being a Solicitor less so and he could do his experience in Cork alright.

Id say being a Solicitor is what he's after, Kinns Inn(Barrister) would involve 6 more years of study and work placement.
    Oh no not them again

yeah, of course, get rid of all our defenders except andrews and play him on his own- sure he's better than rest of them put together. In fact, give flynn and george free transfers too cos andrews is better than them as well IDIOT

If thats what you call being forcd out of the club by an ignorant cnut of a manager, you're right- otherwise you're totally wrong.

gaz has been a great servant to the club in both spells and it's sad to see him go, even if his second spell wasn't as good as his first. Dowtcha boy

Well steve17, you are not a club fan so, you are simply supporting your friend.
