    Jean Tigana

Heard that Jean Tigana is in the frame for this gig, might even get the nod this evening at that press conference, anyone else hear that.

Our source, Betfair, is distinctly cool on Tigana.

Hm. Has anyone mentioned that Ferenc Puskas was channelled by a medium to John Delaney's slightly touched auntie last night?
That question was less stupid, though you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.

Help me, Arthur Murphy, you're my only hope!

He lost out to Ian Holloway for the Leicester job. Not bad record overall. The betting is so strange within the last hour that a Tigana, Hoddle or Daglish might get the nod. Houllier, Brady and especially Venables have all gone out again in the betting.

Not really, i got €15 on him at 41/1 at 3:01pm. He's at 27, was at 13 at one point.

I got 20 on him at 46 and within 30mins of me getting the bet down he went in to 14s, he's now back out but there was a decent few quid for him on Tuesday!

Tigana to be interviewed? Great player in his time and I thought he did a good job at Fulham. http://www.chatsoccer.eu/news/content/view/107/1/

Where would the world be without chatsoccer?

Only compaint, and way off topic, is the description of the Schumacher tackle. I've always felt the violence was massively overplayed. He actually turned his back to avoid hurting Battiston. Total digression!

Is it that Tigana is attending the coaching conference?

Makes a nice speculative difference than the other names spouted left to be interviewed.

Would be an odd appointment given recent developments

If he is an active candidate then the decision would probably be dragged out even further to wait and see how things play out.

Being a former manager of Fulham is one of the key qualifications for being linked with, without getting, the Ireland manager's job. Look at that last poor chap who was linked with us who had never managed Fulham, or indeed any other team. Without that extra experience, he was left with no choice but to take the job...

I would say they saw him checking in maybe, hardly booking a flight over the internet. He probably did that from the comfort of his own home.
