I must say I'd never heard of it but I was over staying with a friend in San Francisco (not that type of friend) in November and his housemates -- all yanks -- were addicted to it. Brilliant stuff, really, really funny.
cracking show, really funny! anyone seen it?
illiteracy and alphabet soup hmm?

what kind of humour is it? I've heard a lot of good things about it. If it's Frasier 'funny' then it's not my cup of tea.

No, it's nothing like Frazier, way zanier. It's about two guys from New Zealand who are in a fledgling band. One of their songs is featured in every episode.

Fascists
It's The Monkees via Curb your enthusiasm.
Thats not a very good description, but it's a very unique show. It's the best I can do.
It's bizarre, and very funny.
On the way into the stadium, an elderly San Marino Steward waved us in and said "Tonight, may the best team win"
And they nearly did.
Great show. I've only seen a few episodes but very original and absolutely side splitting! they really take the p!ss out of every musical genre.

If that don't work what works here is putting the 'ie' in place of the 'www' as in http://ie.youtube.com and then you can paste the rest of the link.

more bass
Seen the first half of Series One & very unique humour. Been meaning to get around to the rest of the series. I don't think can be compared with anything else. You need to watch from the start & takes a while to get the characters to understand the humour.
I liked this one...
man, highly recommended. we just bought the dvd and it's terrific. the episodes' songs are better in the first 5 episodes but i think the episodes improve even if the songs don't. murray is my hero!

If You're Into It
Lyrics here are hilarious.
Series 2 to be made later this year.
Housemate got the DVD, and it's a piece of pure genius. The song are excellent, every single music genre gets taken the p!ss out of it. Especially liked 'Inner City Pressure', a nod to the Pet Shop Boys. Glorious stuff and cant wait for Season Two.

Got the dvd yesterday. watched the first episode last nite. the songs are hilarious.
I mostly find it amusing rather than laugh out loud funny, but it's worth a look.
