As some of you may have noticed, unlike a large section of the soccer community in Limerick we dont have our heads stuck up our holes, we like to have a laugh at games. 'open mic night' at the Jacks is open to all!

Are you seriously criticising people for creating a bit of atmosphere at a game? Especially when the people who matter, you know the real fans, thoroughly enjoyed themselves on the night?

I wasn't criticising anyone, I just don't agree with the megaphone that's all.

What you said was that we should support the team instead of auditioning for the comedy club, and what I'll counter with is that the people who were in and around the megaphone are the ones who run the supporter's club, travel the country supporting the team, and generally are the only ones who will make some noise at the game, so it's a bit rich for anyone to come on criticising us for not showing support. Most, if not all of us, thought the megaphone livened up an otherwise dull night of football

Never said ye werent showing support just that trying to get more peope involved making noise may serve a better purpose than making jokes with your mates into a megaphone

Harpin, the people who have contributed money have no problem with the megafone so as far as im concerned thats all that matters.
Batteries for it however are expensive so it wont be at every game.
