Word got through to Stevie from his housekeeper midway through the second half that he had incorrectly set up his Blu Ray recorder to record Pimp my Ride and had gotten an episode of celebrity masterchef instead, resulting in a bit of a panic attack.

Isn't it amazing that even today when we have some really positive news with one of our most talented players (s reid) finally rejoining the squad and bolstering are qualification hopes, that the baldy one still dominates the headlines with a headache . madness!

Did you ever notice that in every painting of Adam & Eve, they have belly buttons. Think about that...take as long as you want.

Did anybody see Katie Taylor's effort for the Irish ladies team on the news last night. She had returned immediately to join the team after winning yet another boxing gold, and helped the team to a 2-1 win over Khazakstan.

And Stephen Irelands little dizzy spell is still considered more important and given a higher precedence on the news.

Stephen Ireland has a lot to learn about respect, attitude and responsibility to your country from people like Taylor, Bernard Dunne, Brian O'Driscoll and many other true sporting heros from these shores.

    Ireland 'mistake'

GIOVANNI TRAPATTONI maintained yesterday there must have been some sort of “mistake” involved in the newspaper interview last week in which Stephen Ireland was quoted as saying that the Italian was arrogant in his dealings with him.

“It’s not like I’m calling anybody a liar,” said the manager. “I know the situation. In Italy it’s as bad. But I don’t believe what I read or that he said it. It must be clarified whether it’s true of it’s a mistake. I’m 90 per cent sure it’s a mistake.”

If I was Trap I would roll up a very heavy newspaper (Sunday edition with all the supplements and ads) and for a 10/11 minute spell clatter the little obnoxious ****** around the head.

why the f*ck would trap do this and reopen the door? I can only presume he KNOWS Ireland didnt say that otherwise this quote from Trap doesnt help.
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.

    It's diplomatic from Trap.

What Trap is really saying that the newspaper quoted SI correctly therefore the 10% clause is activated.

Can't have the Ireland thread falling off the front page.

I haven't checked the 2500 posts to see if the Stephen Ireland song has been posted:

Not quite Gift Grub standard but catches the mood ok.
