For those that didnt get to see the story in the Star it said that Steven Ireland wants to talk to Sean McCaffrey about coming back. Apartantly he has a high respect for McCaffrey so he wants his opinions on a possible return to the national squad.

who cares? Hes a total pr1ck and i always said he would need us more than we need him at some stage. What will stop the little runt from throwing another strop and leaving somewhere down the line if his milk isnt poured into his tea the right way or something equally asinine. I for one am sick of hearing about him, seeing him and thinking about him. I couldnt care less and as i said now he needs us and he's come crawling back. Predictable. What a dick.
I'd be OK with him coming back but only if it's before the start of the campaign and if he goes to the training camp and plays in the May friendlies. No way should he be allowed to make a return in the first game or the middle of the of the qualifiers. He should also be told it's his last chance.
