I see Diego has been called up to replace Kaka. It's amazing that he didn't even make the squad in the first place. He'd be the best player in the vast majority of international teams.

Yeah, I hope Whelan gets a bit of a run out. I have yet to see him play but he sounds like a good prospect and the kind of player we could do with.

Sorry for posting this here, but I am in Birmingham for work at the moment. Does any one Know where I might find an Irish bar in the city showing the match tonight. Cheers Sparkey.

Is anyone taping this game? Is there anyway I could get a copy of it if so?

I seen a clip on RTE website of the Brazilian kids in Gort.

Nifty little f**kers. Another ten years and we might have a few naturally talented South Americans doing the business for us.
I think I should the parachute, because I'm great.

In fact, I think I should get both parachutes, in case one doesn't work.

The Irish quarter in Digbeth in Birmigham city centre, off the Bullring, lots of traditional Irish pubs (not these made up pub chain type ones) and also home to the Irish centre which has bars and functions rooms.

    Great atmosphere and good beer!
