Forget about the performance or entertainment. It's only the result that matters.
Is it any wonder this subforum is now down to just the 10 or so frequent (and excellent) posters. It's the constant cynicism and negativity that makes engaging on here a real grind sometimes.
Totally not a criticism of Tets or the moderation in general by the way. If it's not reported and is covert trolling then there's not much that can be done.

Thanks but I wouldn't call myself a frequent poster here.
McAteer turned down England B team to play for Ireland.

Check out Jason's interview with Jarlath Regan on his An Irishman Abroad podcast. Very good
Folding my way into the big money!!!
As ever the comments below such articles are interesting. Usual amadans having a go but by and large positive if the green thumbs up are anything to go by.

Seems he may have been another Cascarino type!
Bit of a typical Trigger story - was getting a passport really that haphazard though?Originally Posted by Indo article

Jason always reminds me of a Liverpool version of ~ Rodney the Plonker from Only Fools and Horse !
Impossible to know whether that story is true or not. But, you honestly couldn't completely rule it out either.
I think I had the same dream... He was an abstract impressionist, known for his remarkable use of housepaint, particularly white emulsion. IIRC, McAteer was also a founding member of the "Crown Paints Circle" - a group dedicated to celebrating Liverpool's cultural heritage through art. Those dreams came to halt on the night before his oral exams when McAteer was stung on the tongue by several bees whilst trying to steal honey from a neighbour's hive. Unable to talk sh*te (and the art world being so ruthless and competitive), McAteer failed the exams and ended up focusing his energies on football instead.
