    Kevin Smith's Reaper

Did anyone watch this on TV3 last night?
for those of you who missed it the premise is

Sam's (the lead character) Soul has been sold to the Devil by his parents
the contract states that on the day their first born turns 21 his soul is defaulted to Satan. the show starts on Sam's 21st birthday and strange thing's begin to happen. eventually the Devil makes himself known to Sam and give him a Task, he is to become the Devil's Bounty Hunter returning escaped souls to hell.

This show was a breath of fresh air compared to the other American sit-coms of recent years (None of which I would consider myself a fan) As anyone who has seen Smiths movies will know the guy is an amazingly talented comedy /Dialogue writer and the show is full of his trademark Wit! can't wait till next week

    Watched the show last night.
It has potential and is a great idea.
I just hope smyth doesent run out of funny scenarios quickly.
his work has been a bit hit and miss in my opinion.

Was just reading up online about it, I don't think he wrote/Directed the entire series just the pilot (last night) so it may get worse, hope not

I heard it's a rip off of Dead Like Me. Don't know whether that's true or not though but they have a very similar storyline.

That's Correct, Mews is a Heroin addict who's battled his addiction for nearly 15 years, but he is the biz

Chasing Amy was his best for me, a good deviation from his less cerebral work. The "Evening with..." stuff is the most entertaining stuff he's ever done, missed reaper so far though.

Saw the First but missed the second.

Good fun. Less "Dead like me" and more "Dante and silent Bob do 'Brimstone' "

    And Leland Palmer rocks.
On the way into the stadium, an elderly San Marino Steward waved us in and said "Tonight, may the best team win"

    And they nearly did.
