    The season of "The Penalty".....!

Isn't it unbelievable how much our season has been influenced so far by penalties.
We're only 11 games into the season and there have been enough incidents involving City to do all other clubs for a year.

    1. Bohs @ home - Devine saves brilliantly - City go on to win in dramatic fashion.
    2. Waterford @ home - Blues keeper makes brilliant save from Flynny ( save of the season in my mind ) - thankfully God is quick enough to head home the rebound and salvage a point.
    3. Shelbourne @ home - Last minute, facing the Shed, chance to win the game, Flynny demonstrates probably the only flaw in his game - Williams saves and we drop 2 points.
    4. Drogs @ O2 Park - 2 penalties against us ( strangely no one gets sent off which makes you wonder how bad were they ) - 3 points lost
    5. St Pats @ the Stadium of Spite - Mumbazie ( or whatever his name is ) goes down like a roll of lino ( and outside the playing area ) - guess what, yeah a spotter. Still we salvage a point with a gem from a gem. The season turns and it's all smiles from now on.
    6. UCD @ home - The fussiest referee in the League fails to give The Students a penalty for a blatent "hold" by Bennett in the last minute - City win - Yesssssssss.

And finally poor ol' Flynny scores in his second game for Ireland only to discover the game will be discounted because the FAI cannot count to 2 ( yellow cards ).

As Carlsbeg would say "probably the worst penalty in the world"

Yeah that's exactly what happened. Jim O'Neill has to be the worlds most incompetant ref, how he is allowed to ref in the el in the first place I dont know!

A lot of bohs fans on their message board couldn't believe O'Neill did not give the peno. They would also like to have George !

Close-run thing between him and Alan Kelly.

This is starting to get scary.......!

Now we go out of the LC on penalties.

I have enver seen a season that has swung back and forth so much on spotters.

    When will it end?

    What a bummer tonight!
