No Martin Geraty (inj), Eoin McHale(gone) and with alot of the players suffering from lack of form lately. But still will be crowned champions simply because of their consistency and abilty to out play any team...

Im really looking forward to the season ahead,of course westport and celtic will be contenders for the title but there will be guarented upsets which could bring cups to different grounds in the county... I notice many have perdicted Ballyheane to be just above relegation zone, thats without doubt goin on last years standard, Peter Bourke back, Breandan O' Connor technicial training, Mick Hastings fitness, maximum attendance at training sessions and everyone raring to get started, along with a few other new faces out there and more to come, Ballyheane are not to be underestimated this season... FACT

How come your list, Joe, has Ballina Town playing Ballyheane in week one. On the other lists it's Ballinrobe?

That would be because I made a mistake, I mixed up ballinrobe and ballyheane when uploading them. Dammit. Ignore my fixtures for now, they're wrong.

    Edit: Fixed, Cheers Fireball.

Sorry to tell you Joe but we are down to play Westport on the 21/09/08, i think you left out both Westport Vs Robe matches?

Fair play for putting the effort in though with all the fixtures.

Big game in the Boro this weekend. It will be interesting to see of all the money spent on pre season will show some return and how many of the new signings will start? Will Utd show last years league form and if they do, they will have no problem retaining the SL or will they continue their stumbling cup form? Ballyheane another club who have invested heavily in pre season (even if they say other wise) and according to info on this site, have a number of new players to be unveiled at the weekend. Iorras would be my outside bet to get between the big two. Best of luck to all teams for the coming season.

I see Ladbrokes are giving Ballinrobe 40/1 odd's to win their first League Title.

    Not bad odd's!!!
