Have you tried a single bed in a dorm in a Hostel?

We're staying in the Primalen which is a hotel/hostel. A single room is about 75 euros, or at least it was when we booked. I reckon that's reasonable for a city centre single room.

    Reder,

I was due to fly Dublin - Oslo return with Ryanair, Monday thru Thursday. Due to the date change of the return flight I booked to return home via London on the Thursday. Of course, Ryanair charged me for that but naturally haven't yet refunded me the cost of the original flight.

I'm definitely not going to let them away with it. Can you confirm the Ryanair phone/fax number which you tried?

    Tickets

    Just a quick question!

Has anyone heard from the FAI re. tickets?

I applied last month and sent in the initial application form for tickets. Since then, nothing! Anyone know what is happening?

    Thanks.

    Applied for one.

Got something yesterday that I've been allocated a ticket.

There won't be a problem with this game.

Tickets are €27 incl a €2 handling fee. Another €27 might get me a beer in Oslo.

If any one is looking to book this I would recommend the main airport as not sure if Ryanair fly to the same country. Express train runs from the airport to central stadium in the City - just swipe your credit card at the airport to get on the train. Metro is very cheap & taxis also work with credit cards - i think they prefer cards & may ask you to hand over in advance.

The Raddisson next to the central train station is very good if budget allows.

Pints are "only" around E8 but you can also get as low as E5.50 in city centre. That said is most expensive country I have been in, Makes Dublin seem cheap. You can buy duty free in the airport on arrival. Make sure you buy some aquavit

No I would say, that for a man who has gone to all of those, he will be broke and therefore we should buy him a pint.

It was the U17s and don't forget Fulham for the Colombia game.

All were probably cheaper than a night on the p!$$ in Oslo.

I hear you were in Moscow for the Champions League Final and also supporting your friends from Glasgow at the UEFA Cup Final in Manchester .

    Tickets

Tickets have been posted by the FAI within the past couple of days. Received mine via Express Post yesterday. I've no idea how many tickets the FAI requested nor indeed how many Irish supporters are expected in Oslo. Any guesses anyone?

I'd say it will be a similar number to the game in Denmark last year, about 200 - 300.
