    €200 + €20 registration fee + €100 Buy back or Top Up

    That's a bit steep. Wasn't it €100 + €10 + €50 last year?

Bust wasnt last years first prize a car and there was other smaller cash and spot prizes.
This year its all cash prizes totalling €25,000 and the winner will leave on the night with €10,000

Sounds reasonable to me for these cash prizes

Talk of bigger prizes is grand, but I think it'll still deter a lot of people who aren't serious poker players but would have gone along at a lower entry fee.

Like me, I'm not paying 320 quid.

I know that, but everybody has their limit as to how much they're willing and can afford to shell out..

At the moment, that kind of money for a poker game is way above my limit.

I hope its a great success, but I'm afraid I won't be there.

have to agree with davey cakes on this one. this is too steep for the ordinary supporter. it would be ok if targeting the business community

Its probably aimed at a higher standard of poker player than the ordinary 5/8.
I entered last year also, but its a bit steep for me this year.
