    Sky Digital

    Hey guys. Little info needed.

Father in law is getting Sky in with 1 x multi room.

Going into the living room and my girlfriend is getting the multi room box. But without going for another multi room box for his room, is there a cable or any other way of connecting the living room sky box with a normal telly in a bedroom upstairs?

    Please help asap.

a sky eye will let you watch what is on downstairs, it will also let you turn the channels over from upstairs.

Not too sure what you mean you are doing about the other box though? If your dad is getting multi room he will be paying extra per month for the other box. If he just wants this sky eye, no point in getting multi room.

Edit, just read, its your father in law! Understand now.

So your girlfriend is living with your Father-in-law? What does your wife have to say about this cosy setup?

Oh, and yes, get a sky-eye thingy.

So does that mean you bring the remote control with you to the other room
and the "eye thing" picks up that signal and sends it back down to the
    skybox?

That's my understanding. A spare remote would be handy.

It won't leave him watch different channels in different rooms at the same time.
If the sky box is in the kitchen, it will allow him change channels in the bedroom.

Can for instance with the box in kitchen, he can change channel in bedroom, but with another sky eye, can he connect that to his tv in the sitting room?

Sky Plus has hard drive storage inside it so I'd imagine its for interacting with that.
