    TV's

Is there anywhere in Dublin where you can still buy an oldsytle 30' box TV , tube is going on current TV and due to the logistics of the rooms and kids one of the flatscreen would be unsuitable at the moment.

Curry's recently had a 32" old style ( but still HD ready ) for about 600 euro last year dont know if they still have them.

Its very hard to get the old ones and i prefere them far better than the new flatscreen ones which unless you have SKYHD are pointless. I have a 37" big old square lump in the sitting room its 8 years old and has never given a bit of trouble dispite being moved house 5 or 6 times and having been on for most of its life in crowded smoke filled sitting rooms with playstations etc all hooked up to it.

and you might get one for free.
Dahamsta was also advertising a goods exchange site he was running I think.

There's a TV shop on the North Quays might have one, or try calling Duffy's in Blanchardstown.

Bought a BEKO 28" WIDE PURE FLAT at Powercity about 3 years ago for a house I shared and I have to say for €250 it has been well worth it. I bought one for a place I rent out 18months ago and there has been no problem with it.
    It's only just begun...............

Cheers will have alook , I can't hang a new TV on the wall and they are too flimsy with kids around to put on top of a cabinet.
