    Elano

    Superstar?
    Saviour?
    Legend in the Making?

The stats seem to say different. I was reading one of the Sunday Papers and it said that of the 17 games that Elano has started in for Man City he has been subbed 16 times. Which means he's only ever finished 1 game for Man City.
So it begs the question is Elano one stretch away from a career threatning injury? or does Sven just like to shake his hand and pat him on the back in public?

I have no problem with Elano i think he's a smashing player even if I am a Man Utd fan. But the stats don't lie.

So? Robbie Keane has been substituted in more than half of the games he's started for Spurs (13 games out of 23)
Sven has admitted on more than one occasion that Elano is still not 100% fit and he's still one of the best players on the pitch.
Tevez has started 21 games and been substituted in more than half of those - 11 times in total, doesn't make him any less of a player, it just means the manager is saving him for the games ahead.

Don't think Elano has excessive amounts of stamina. Still think he's a really good player though.
The ball is round and has many surprises.

Star player yet he's not 100% fit. What will he be like when he is...........if ever will be?

Amazing vision and off the ball awareness. When he's on song he's a joy to watch.

I'd rather have an Elano for 70 minutes a game than Joey Barton for a full 90 (when he's actually playing of course and not behind bars!!!!)

What % of games that Stephen Ireland has started in has he finished? He always seems to be subbed on around 65-70 minutes, recently anyway.
