    Cooke Signs Thoroughbred

    Mons manager Mick Cooke has signed former Kildare County, Longford Town and Shelbourne player Darragh Hanaphy to bolster his strike force for the coming season. The talented 19 year old striker will team up with Philip Sheppard, Brian Gartland, Robbie Collins, Brendan Kennedy and James Hand who are all new signings for United as they look forward to the 2008 season.

    The season starts early March but training will start on 19th January with Cooke determined to whip his team into shape early and prepare them for the long season ahead.
