I feel that all we need is someone who can get us back on track and if Giles is the man who can then why not give him the job.

Because he couldn't do it when he was 40 and only recently out of the game and with a stronger side. What chance now when he must be well in to his 60s and hasn't managed anything for years and at his age will be doing well to manage his bladder ?.

    0.00000000000001% of it happening.

Giles is past managing and owlsfan is right his time was there and now its gone. Liam Brady will not touch the job so he can be chalked off aswell. I'd say El-Tel will get it now
With a squad made up of players like Green, McShocking and Kilbad we are going places. Down the gutter.........

Brady has widely said that he has an interest in the job - between him and el tel imo.

Enjoyed the Leeds stuff and it was interesting seeing the Leeds manager, Don Revie, getting down and dirty and giving the players massages. Couldn't quite see Mourinho doing that now. Leeds were not a major club until Revie took over and the League Cup in 1968 was the first major trophy the club won - indeed the first major trophy by a Yorkshire side since 1935 (modesty prevents me from naming that other Yorkshire side). Giles was one of the all time great Irish players and I had the pleasure in watching him live at Dalymount and on English TV. I haven't seen a better passer of a ball off both feet. Lacked a bit of pace (and height of course) which was his only failing as a player.
