Inter, Roma and Juve to win + Barca/Espanyol game over 2.5 goals works out at 7-1 with PP. 11-1 for over 3.5 but think I'll back 2.5 to play it safe. Roma are the only team I fear slipping up.

I'd advise backing Shaktar as soon as you find any odds for the return leg next week. Harry's going to put out an even less experienced team with the Carling Cup final 4 days later.

    Carling Cup Final

    Manchester United -V- Tottenham Hotspurs

I can see this being a very exciting game with plenty of goals. Fergie has promised to give his youngsters a run out once again in this competition. United's defence has been rock solid all season but they have conceded a few goals in the cup this year. Over 2.5 goals looks good to me today. Both sides have been involved in high scoring games throughout this seasons cup run. Between them they have played 10 games, witnessing a whopping 42 goals! An average of 4.2 goals a game. Only two of those games failed to reach above the 2.5 mark. These sides have met twice already this season, Fa Cup and League. The league game was 0-0 but in their last meeting it finished 2-1, a scoreline which this punter will be hoping for. History could also be on our side. Since the turn of the Century, the League Cup final has witness 6 games having more than 2.5 goals scored in normal time.

    United's run:

    Man Utd 4-2 Derby

    Derby 1-0 Man Utd

    Man Utd 5-3 Blackburn

    Man Utd 1-0 QPR

    Man Utd 3-1 Middlesbrough

    Spurs run:

    Burnley 3 - 2 Tottenham*

    Tottenham 4-1 Burnley

    Watford 1-2 Tottenham

    Tottenham 4-2 Liverpool

    Newcastle 1-2 Tottenham

*Spurs nicked 2 goals in ET

Meetings between the sides this season:

    Man Utd 0-0 Tottenham LEAGUE

Man Utd 2-1 Tottenham FA CUP

    Previous League Cup Finals:

    Tottenham H 2-1 Chelsea (AET)

    Chelsea 2 - 1 Arsenal

    Man Utd 4 - 0 Wigan Athletic

    Chelsea 3 - 2 Liverpool

    Middlesbrough 2-1 Bolton

    Liverpool 2-0 Manchester Utd

    Blackburn R 2-1 Tottenham

    Liverpool 1-1 Birmingham (Pens 5-4)

    Leicester C 2-1 Tranmere

Anyone get much on this? I'd say many of the backers are delighted that the FAI didn't demote Drogheda now

Finally replaced the hamster on the wheel in the computer. Arsenal look a good bet against Roma 21/10. Roma have to attack (without Totti) should play into Arsenals hands.

Yeah I had a very small little each way bet on it. I thought Dman seemed like a man who wouldn't just throw out any old tips!.

Running again today in the 19:45 at Tipperary. Slightly shorter race this time so hopefully won't get pipped at the post again.

    Most definite tip. 3/1 fav.

Also Hamburg evens to beat Man City tonight. City are terrible away from home and Martin Jol has got Hamburg playing really well at the moment. I'm going for the -1 handicap also.

had a small punt on an Arsenal win and Bogdanovic an anytime scorer for Barnsley yesterday. Was dancin round the office here for all of 2 minutes...
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.
