You got that all wrong, all teams are given a handicap. Man United 0, Chelsea 2, Arsenal 7.........etc etc..........Stoke City 54, Hull City 56. At the end of the season these amounts are added onto each teams final points tally. Liverpool are 10/1 to come top of this new table, not very good value imo.
any of ye think Sunderland are a good bet at 16/1??
41 points handicap.
finished on 39 points last year.
United won the league with 87 points. 7 point gap.
League in my opinion will be alot tighter this year. Sunderland are much improved than last year and i defo can see them going over the 40 points mark this season!!!
The HC betting is always interesting - for comparison purposes, the benchmark is an adjusted points total of 95 - 100. In 2006 West Ham won it with 105, 2007 Reading with 103 and last year Arsenal with 96 (NB i am using PP HC for 06 and 07 and betfair for last year).
Therefore, the guideline is to subtract the HC from 100 and ask yourself whether your team can win the remaining number of points. In the last 3 years the team with zero HC has been mid table.
Relegation fodder unlikely to do much - so it is the likes of Spurs / WH / Pompey / Bburn / Everton / City i.e. those sides that will positions 5 - 13 that you need to look at

Middlesboro to be relegated.
Middlesboro are 16/1 with Skybet

Sporting Fingal are at a very generous 5/6 to beat Kildare away tomorrow night with Willy Hill.
Strongly considering this one. Kildare took a pasting against Derry, and 2 games in 4 days for amateur and semi-pro players is a big ask. Fingal's players are mostly ex-PD, so they should be much too good.
A nice treble that's caught my eye.... Aston Villa (5/6) away to Stoke, QPR (5/6) at home to Doncaster and then Coventry (5/4) at home to Bristol City. Combined odds of 7.5/1.

Bohs are at an amazing 10/11 to beat Drogheda tonight with Stan James.
For a team that's won 16 out of 21 league games this season, those odds are insanely good.
Interesting handicap bet on Sligo-Drogs tonight with PP. Drogs -1 is 5/1.

Another interesting handicap on Real vs. BATE Borisov tomorrow. BATE +3 is 5-6. Anyone thinks that's worth a look?

I'm on Bohs @ 2.02 against Rovers. There is a massive gulf between these and the league table tells its own story. Bohs are a massive 33 points clear of their arch rivals, Bohs on 67 - Rovers on 34 . Although this is a derby Fenlon's side should have plenty to do Rovers tonight. Bohs are looking for their straight tenth win now and have only conceded once in 9 games . Their defence and GK have been in flying form only conceding 8 times in 26 league games. This could well be hammering for the hoops, or will Nutsy be content with a draw ?? Would love to go this game but stuck in poxy work for Dundalk and Wolverhampton.
Bohs previous 9 games:
Bohemians 2 - 0 U.C.D
Bohemians 3 - 0 Cobh Ramblers
Bohemians 2 - 1 Shamrock Rovers
Cork City 0 - 1 Bohemians
Galway United 0 - 2 Bohemians
Bohemians 2 - 0 Drogheda United
Sligo Rovers 0 - 1 Bohemians
Bohemians 3 - 0 St Patricks Athletic
Bohemians 3 - 0 Finn Harps
Previous meetings between the sides this season:
Shamrock Rovers 0 - 1 Bohemians
Bohemians 2 - 1 Shamrock Rovers
Backing Bohs @ 2.02
This is very generous and defo a value bet. I could be wrong but I think Rovers have only won at home 4 times this season. Whoever is laying Bohs is crazy I feel.

Who Cares?!
Not much value in the First Division games today, but the HT/FT markets might be profitable. Double on Dundalk/Dundalk and Limerick/Limerick works out about 10-1 with most bookies.

I know, but they're a much better team so that = value in my eyes. Cross-season form is largely a matter of superstition.

Yeah, Mons goal on 44. Lost a lot of money there.

Galway utd are 3/1 to beat cork city tonight in boylesports
Cork have aload of players out only have 13 fit players and Galway united have played really well in last 4 games and cork will be tired after Derry game on tuesday night so I reckon Gufc to win at 3/1 is a great price
