yeah, have to agree, it's going to get harder and harder to hold onto him as his reknowns. there are people who will take more notice of goals in consecutive u21 games than would have of nine in the LOI.

I'm not so sure, there are big financial worries over in England and unless he goes to a division one club he is probably better off where he is.

wasn't really thinking of him moving to the second or third, i agree he's better here than there in that case.

he's young though, has loads of potential left to fulfil and he's been scoring consistently for a season and a half. add the irish u21 goals to that and i think he'll be catching the eyes of div one clubs.

most of the lads around himare not setting the premiership alight but are making their money with div one and scottish clubs. i think at the moment that's his level.

I dunno maybe we're worryin too much.Crowe has made the Senior squad 3 times now and ther's been no sign of a transfer for him even though he's still only 25.I agree Flynny's much better off here unless he gets an offer from a good 1st Div or Premship side

well if he was he'd be there.

what you can't deny is the potential he has. he's still only a young lad, a natural goalscorer who's game gets better and better. don givens and the u21 gave him a chance, he's made an impact and should now be a fixture in the squad (if not the side).

when john o'shea appeared in the u21 first he was no great shakes, just a skinny young lad who showed promise. with good coaching and recognition of potential he's progreesed greatly. flynn has done well in the two u21 games, on a par with teammates who are being groomed by big clubs.

i think he'll play for the irish senior side some day

His photo appeard in 2 Sunday papers today.

He scores 2 international goals in a week.

He's all over the daily papers during the week ( mainly due to Pat Dolan ).

Ray Houghton gives him a mention yesterday on Sky Sports prior to their coverage of the Irish game.

He may not be Premiership standard .... yet.....but he's certainly doing himself no harm.

And you know, if he does go from us, all this publicity is doing City no harm either as it is only ading to his value.

City need to make a big decision now though......should they sell him now while his profile is up in lights or hang on to him until his contract is up and loose him with NO RETURN????????

JOF played really well in the Germany game.
Up against a very well organised, physically strong defence.
He fitted into an international well and took his chance.

But I'm not worried about losing him.
Right now all the UK clubs are focussing on cutting numbers. I doubt if there will be any real interest in Eircom players from English or Scotish clubs.
And I doubt if he'll move to Dublin.
He's going to stay for a bit.

On the bright side: Behan looks capable of filling a starting spot in the near future.
