    Recurring Dreams?

Any of you have them? What the hell are they all about?

I have this one, and id say ive been having it for at least 10 years now.

Its always a different situation, but somehow, all my teeth fall out and i catch them in my two hands. Situations vary from

    - having an itch on my face and scratching it and them all going.

    - Brushing my teeth

    - Couldnt close my mouth, and if i did (which i eventually do) they crumble

    - Getting a dig and one falling out, then within seconds the rest of them are out.

    - For no reason whatsoever.

Its a strange one, and i have looked up dream readin encyclopedias saying that it is a confidence thing, that im not very good a socialising etc, or making my thoughts be known, or that i am not assertive enough. Now anyone who knows me, knows that all of the above is boŁŁocks.

Anyways, anyone a fraeak with silly dreams?

Just the usual stuff where I constantly feel like I'm falling (a fear of failure maybe?)... I very, very rarely remember my dreams though.

I was hoping this thread was about Crowded House...

That falling thing SLK is actually something everyone has. It is basically the moment where your heart rate drops as you fall asleep, but somehow you are conscious of it. (I think)

But I generally get it just as I wake up...

I've had that one quite a few times as well. Your jaw feels completly locked and you can't, regardless of what you do, close your mouth. Usually wake up before my teeth start to crack but I have had it a few times.

Another one I often have is that I'm being chased or attacked and I try to scream but no matter how far I open my mouth no noise will come out, I can feel all the air of the scream passing through my mouth but there is never any sound. Weird or what! GWA, you being our resident dream pyschologist , have you any idea what that means or symbolises???

Teeth falling out. My girlfriend had that dream for 6 months. She found a book about recurring dreams. It said that teeth falling out was a sign of change or facing up to change.
At the time she had decided/was deciding to move to Dublin for a job.

Well, 10 years ago I could have called it puberty. 6 years ago i could have put it down to moving to Limk for college. 18 months ago i could have put it down to being dumped by the girl i still love, and now it could be that im starting a new job/career/lifestyle monday.

either that or im just a strange feen indeed.
