    Lawrie Sanchez leaves Fulham

Bit of an odd one given that they weren't doing that badly, and he has been there less than a season. Suppose we should wait for more info before speculating

Well they are in the bottom three so it's not totally unexpected imo. The other two clubs in the bottom three have already changed managers this season so there is a trend there.

I reckon they were sick of his long ball rubbish and they want to get a manager who will play proper football. John Collins anybody.

A little bit too strong a coincidence that Collins is available at the same time Sanchez gets the sack.

He was sacked. What a ridiculous decision. He would have kept them up given time, I'm sure. But no, the second they drop into the relegation zone they give him the boot. What a stupid, knee-jerk reaction.

I'm not complaining as to be honest I don't really like Fulham, but that is still a crazy decision.

Collins has publicly denied his resignation had anything to do with Fulham (take form that what you will). He is bookies favourite at 1/4!!!!!
I thought you were off the drink Ronnie?

I thought Fulham had the 4th best record in games if you only count the 37th to 64th minute (inclusive). And pretend there is no offside rule.

It IS coincidence that Collins resigned yesterday as that was to do with money issues but I wouldn't rule out the fact that Fulham gave Sanchez the bullet once they saw that JC was suddenly available.

    Good enough for him.

Reckon Norn Irn could have actually qualified for Euro 08 had he not walked out when he did.

The IFA, under Wells, might actually be lacking enough in class to try and get him back ahead of Worthington

Isn't it more accurate to say Fulham left Sanchez? They did give him the boot after all!
Well maybe the FAI should offer Sanchez the job down South. Let's face it he;d be the first person to manage both Ireland's if he said yes !

He spent £25m in the summer. For a club like Fulham to spend that much and still be struggling is pretty bad. He brought in 15 players, iirc, so it's not as if he didn't have the players he wanted. It just didn't work out for him.

yeah def agree, couldnt have happened to a nicer bloke
I thought it was unprofessional to take Colemans job so soon after he was sacked (a bit like Jewell with derby), but then morality has no place in football
