All players have signed contracts so if they go a fee would have to be involved.....although i'd say Keane will be slow to sign eircom league players after Roy O'Donovans performances.
LESS OF THE BULL NOW!
I'm hearing 21st Jan
davin has signed no contract is what i heard last, keeping his options open.

realistically can you see him making it in premier league, he is good but god lads lets keep feet on ground, last year and years before he played against defences that are tactically poor , clatter you rather than mark you
when we played derry in cobh he was queit, in the bigger games he drifts abit
have to get real here i think he is quality but with rams he is a big fish in a small pond if he moved to england he would be a tiny fish in a huge pond
best of luck to him but he would struggle at championship let alone premierleague
o callaghan couldnt cut it at ipswich, hwe is of comparable level to dav
We control by attitudes positive mental attitudes not by rules.
Happy new year to yourself Marco and Bella, 6yardpunisha and all Cobh fans.
Lads last time we were promoted (after winning the league against sides like Sligo, UCD and Galway) Healy reckoned we didn't need to strengthen as we were so strong the year before. Big mistake, we REALLY struggled, finished bottom and that was with McHugh being amongst the top scorers in the league. Hegarty is approaching this totally differently. He is signing quality proven players (Beckett, Malcom and Callaghan latter 2 to be confirmed shortly) at this level. He has also brought the club forward in terms of professionalism. The team will be allowed to work Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday but the rest of the days players will be at the club. We have started major fund-raising, big promotional push and going to schools in relation to upping attendances (ie. Kids go free when accompanied by an adult)
I hope Henderson doesn't make the same mistake for yer sakes as Healy did. Im looking forward to our trip(s) down to ye this season, hopefully we can make it annually in the prem, but unless there is some activity in the transfer market for ye then I reckon ye could struggle. Its just me talking from experience, we thought we would stroll in the prem last time too. UCD stayed up as did Sligo and Galway, we just taking a leaf out of their books.
Davin left for a trial at Forest yesterday. Good luck to him
LESS OF THE BULL NOW!
Have to agree Sam Heggy their is a step up and we have to be able to make it.
If we do not add to the squad we will struggle as soon as we a few injuries we will be in trouble.
We need to get maybe 3-4 experienced players to complement what we have.
Come on the rams!!
id say well wait till 3 weeks before the season starts and get a few cheap players, that for some unknown reason aren't signed by a club, there's always one or two floating around, we dont have a load of money so we cant go headhunting players unfortunately, and if we get off to a very bad start the gates wont be great either, i think long term financial stability is more important, that way if we do get relegated well still have a club to support, throwing money at a problem has caused us to much hassle in the past,
its gonna be rough ride and were gonna have to stick it out, we'll stick it out but will others
Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds.
