    home games

    anyone going to the georgia & albania games? you know the big campaign to get EL fans involved, so do we wear club colours or just ireland jerseys and club flags or what

    i think it's whatever tickles your fancy, i think the idea is to have a large pocket of fans and to have a loud, colourful section to help build the atmosphere. i guess as it's an eircom league section it'd be good to wear club jerseys, but i don't know if it's a prerequisite.

    Question

    i think we would be much better off to go in as much green as possible.
    Like the holland game in 2001, when eircom gave all those green t shirts the colour was amazing.
    What we really need is to get the songs and chants flowing to really build up the atmosphere.

    yeah, i was wrong

    just read on www.soccercentral.ie that they want to create a sea of green, and the focus is on giving out tricolours etc. so ireland jerseys all round (or city home )

    theres no point been against celtic jersies as much as El supporters like it the majority of irish people are celts supporters. not that i agree with wearing celtic jersies. i wouldn buy one but if i was giving it as a present id wear it.
