It is, it's flying up.
Don't think there's much more, a new gate and turnstile is going in on the ring road end, and presumably a tarmac concourse (!) from there to the new stand. That's it for now I think.
Guys, was in Waterford last week and the new stand looks it is coming along nicely.
Are there any more plans for further development of the ground?

Went looking at the waterfrod city council site for the planning application to see if it mentioned any other works. There doesnt even seem to be an application for the stand

I didn't check it out meself but a few of the other Blues posters say it was up there blobbyblob. Partizan had a link to the plans up on btid a few months ago.
Probably they just took it down again now the work is underway for quite a while.

A serious investment after going in there anyway. Pity there wont be too many bums on seats next year. Hopefully they'll be straight back up.
It will be sad to see considering the amount of work that Jim O Neill et al put into last year.

Lads, can I ask who own the stadium? Is it in WUFC hands or does it belong to the athletics crowd. Stand is coming along well
Waterford City Council own the RSC and also the pitch and putt course, tennis courts and indoor hall over on the other side of the site (behind new stand).
We are pretty much unofficial anchor tenants for the main part (pitch and track), although Waterford Institute of Technology also use it for the inter collages football league.
