To be fair I don't think he is going to say that in his first press conference. I am sure on the training field he will say what he has always said.

    I reckon he will say:

"Ho parlato con lui e con Steven Gerrard chiedendo espressamente di usare grande calma e prudenza. L'obiettivo č averlo in campo al massimo della condizione a Liverpool. I suoi capelli? Meglio adesso che prima, con quella "crapa pelata". Guai a lui se li tocca...

Un po' mi fa pena. Trentun anni, ridotto come un Enzo Braschi qualunque. Lui che poteva essere il re McLaren biggo Pr*cko
    ."

    But I could be wrong.
Forget about the performance or entertainment. It's only the result that matters.

Even after Capello showed up, the racism continued. "I want an Englishman" from the nobodies.

Lots of countries all over the world hire coaches from all over the world, ourselves included. Grow up, and get on with it.

Spain had Ladislao Kubala and Jose Santamaria in the late seventies and early eighties. Kubala move from Hungary after the 56 revolution and lived in Spain until his death. Santamaria was a 2G born in Uruguay. Both were Spanish citizens when they held the post.

Absolutely. And as stated they were both Spanish citizens. The thought of a foreigner running 'la seleccion' would cause outrage across the country, even in the parts where you wouldn't have thought so. ie. 'What's wrong with a Basque/Catalan getting the job? Another Madrid conspiracy to keep US out of having the main job by employing a foreigner.' Even though with the exception of Javier Irureta, I can't see anybody from these two parts of Spain currently being in contention.
