Thread: Harp?

    Question Harp?

Anyone know if Harp has gone off the market? Don't drink it myself, but I know this Swiss guy who has come back to Ireland theoretically to improve his English but more obviously because he's addicted to Harp since his last visit. He's been here two weeks and can't get a drop of the stuff anywhere...
    Genuine request! Any help appreciated...

I think it's still on the market, but maybe only further up the country.

"Pint o' Harp and a packet o' dates there Lawrence."

That was the only good thing that ever came from Harp. It's an awful, awful drink. Yerman is much better off without it.

It's just that he's Swiss: they expect things to be the same, always! Thanks for the help, guys, I better put him on the next bus to Dundalk before he cracks up!

    Red face Dublin

Think Harp is fairly common up here in da big smoke.

Hate the stuff & never seen anyone drink it but i'm fairly sure is probably in the older pubs around the suburbs 'n stuff.

Havent seen it served in a long time, but was in Armagh recently, and Harp is plentiful down there.... another question... is Caffreys an Irish drink or not?

    Red face Caffreys

Caffrey is made by Tennants in Norn Oirland I believe.

Had a friend who was rep for them a while ago & eventhough was free could only manage 2 pints of the stuff

Yes you were, James, ya big fairy. Cans of the stuff at that house party. Oh no, wait a second, no you weren't. You couldn't finish the can cause your little belly was full, so you threw it at me.
    Ya big girl
