    Paul McCartney

Anybody else manage to make it into the RDS last night? Was on First Aid duty, so saved myself E105! Still, would have been well worth it - amazing concert! Three hours non-stop - not bad for a 61-year-old! Eleanor Rigby, All My Loving, Back In The USSR, Can't By Me Love, Let It Be, Hey Jude, Fool On The Hill, Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Heart Club Band, Lady Madonna, Something, Band On The Run, Live And Let Die, Yesterday, Hello Goodbye and a fair few more solo songs which I knew but don't know the names. Best concert ever!

By all accounts it was good but €105 is taking the pi$$.

Mind-blowing money for one concert, alright.

105 is a total robbery. Pity there isnt more competition
    for Ticketmaster/MGM?whoever sets the prices.

Neil Young cost the asme for his gig in Vicker St!

On the contrary, I'd say that 32,000 people can't be right!

I can't understand why anybody would want to see him in the first place?

And for any Dubs with musical taste Sepultura are in Temple Bar very soon, doubt I'll be able to get up to it but just thought I'd mention it.
The ball is round and has many surprises.

Now there are some of your no-name bands!

Personally, I would have paid E105 to go to the RDS, though it's very easy to say that after the event, and after getting in free to said event. But it was what is widely regarded as (a bit of) one of the greatest bands ever playing live for the first time in almost 40 years. Plus a lot of the original Beatle fans would be near retirement age now and would be getting to the stage where they start having a lot of spare money knocking around - mortgage paid off, kids gone, etc. But if he goes on tour again, I'd have no problem paying E105 for a ticket.

I would rather remove my right ball than go to a Speultura concert.

Bloody kids and their "music", back in my day you could actually hear the lyrics.

You'd better believe it too! If anybody knows of any work going in the Limerick area let me know huh!? Nothing dodgy or illegal though - just something that will allow me to attend a couple of over-priced (and probably over-rated) bands during the summer!
