Is it Alan Kirby you are talking about?
He would be a good signing, but would Longford let him go?

and if Cahill is coming back, when exactly will he arrive ??

Show us the money - all our midfield is under contract.... Mind you could be all about O'Callaghan going the other way....

i'd have both kirby and cahill in the side (although i think ollie would be hard pressed to come back)...

    Breslan

    Sounds alright.
Dunno what division Exeter are in but he was a regular for them for 3 seasons.
But when is he allowed play for us?
Presume he can't officially sign until the transfer window opens?

    From CityNet:

The St. James Park club are in a crisis, having been relegated from the Football League to the conference.
Their manager has left the club, and both their chairman and vice-chairman have resigned after being arrested due to financial irregularities. Many of the clubs players have threatened to walk away if their wages are not paid on time.

Seems like we could get their whole squad if we wanted too, but I doubt if they are any good !
Wouldn't City be a bit above this level?

In tonight's Echo they were talking about that Fella from Exeter coming and that they will see how he does in training. If he is good they are said to sign him when the transfer window open's.

Does that mean Uri Gellar might get a stint in the old nick...lets see him try to bend those bars.......

by the looks of things we MIGHT have a whole new midfield against Pats,

according to the rumours the team to face pats COULD be:

    Devine

    Carey Benno Danno Billy
    Kirby Greg ExeterGuy Olli€
    Goergie Behan

with flynnie away on u-21 duty
Cork City F.C. the envy of the EL

i would be glad to see ollie back but he still probably wud be as inconsistent as ever. the possible move by kirby is far more promising - excellant player and i sure that jeff breslin guy could be useful as well.

btw anyone know how is robie hedderman settling in the team. looks like he could be class but he seemed a bit hesitant to get on the ball against waterford in the league.

anyway if ollie comes back then fine. i much rather see kirby come though
    john flynn? - awesome!!!!!!

I reckon now it's all a wind up.
I don't think either player is coming to Cork.
