Pats have a manager too. Took a team that just survived relegation to second place the season after. Why would we want Kenny?

Would Derry fans welcome him back if he were to return?
Robertson has no Intentions off staying In Ireland, the Derry board have to wait until he confirms this! Perhaps, He is looking to be paid off as he lines up some other position but ITS NEARLY 100% CERTAIN HE WILL NOT BE THERE NEXT YEAR. The sooner the better Its resolved so everybody at the club can plan for the year ahead. The board and backroom team are Itching to get next years team organised. They have not got much time as there are very few players around. Ideally, they would like to have been preparing next years team back in August. I'd say Derry will approach another Prem division club about there Manager and It will not be Harps, so all Harps fans can rest In peace.
I was speaking to a Derry work colleague last Monday and he said the word on the street was that Kenny - the over achiever - is returning to the Brandy!!!
About as cold and clinical a statement as you can get. Not even a "We'd like to thank him for his efforts".Originally Posted by ForzaHoop

Rubbish club in a rubbish league.
I'd say he will likely stay in Scotland and take a lower division job there.
I wonder if that will change with the new board in place and our New Chairmans other favourite team being the Pars. Good to see a seemingly young vibrant board being appointed though, it looks like fresh faces are needed around the place to work some magic, especially with regards to last years supposed financial mess. .
Rumours that Hegarty has called on the Harps board to give him bigger financial backing to push on from last season, if not and they just want to avoid relegation he'll be off. He's still a more realistic candidate to replace Robbo than Kenny IMO.
As Irishmen we dilute our sense of nation by depending on the English to bring us our balls
Unlikely to be Hegarty now though as he is to give a Press Conference on Monday night with club members to outline Harps' strategy for the coming season.

You must be a bit disappointed the Cup Final was postponed . I was looking forward to watching it on the box myself.
Back on topic, as regards Stephen Kenny if the Longford job is open again it might be good for him. Given Longford being only newly relegated and just been in a Cup Final are in far better shape in 2007 than they were in 1997 when he went there first.
