When I was down in St Mel's last friday I saw that altlone plan to build a new ground. I was just wondering when will it be built and what will happen to St Mel's or will the new stadium turn into something like shams move to tallagt and take 20years to build.
The first phase should be starting very soon. There will be a main stand of 1,500 seats, with other facilities underneath. The plan is to have that ready for the start of the 2004 season.
Saint Mel's will be in control of the local council who are retaining it for sports use.
