Very frustrating for Ireland, I thought they out-played England in the first half. Garvan was especially magnificent in the middle of the park for the first half.

i think outplayed is a bit strong but we definately held our own. Garvan looks a brilliant prospect!

He was knocking it about well in the first half. He faded out of the game in the second though.

UEFA Cup football, good chance of a league winners medal
Out for a spell, got neglected, lay on the bench unselected.

I dont think so I think after the second it got a bit rope but even then we should have had a goal as Keogh was not offside. Once again a good performance against England and we are losing 3-0, I thought lightening does not strike twice.

Garvan Quinn and O Toole were excellent just to be let down by Stokes and Clare in my view.

O Ceirruil will look the business in the EL I think as he has great pace and good reading of the game. I like the look of O'Dea everytime I see him.

Hopefully the ref will blow the whistle soon, we've been well beaten in the second half and I don't want to see the lads embarassed.

i reckon we should have stuck more to our shape. We looked like we could nick a goal before they scored and we wouldnt be so vulnerable at the back

ya pats look like they are really getting their act together off and on the field. So tony hope yer right, if nothing else kerr is certainly ambitious.

I thought lightening does not strike twice
It does, I saw this program on sky once about this woman who had been struck 2 or 3 times after a tornado.

terrible ball by garvan, thats the only time ive heard his name mentioned in 60 mins...

Paul, you should not rely on the commentators to tell you who is playing well and who is not, your eyes should do it for you. Also if you are watching it on Sky they are raving about him and saying he was a contendor for man of the match so maybe you should get your ears check out too.
