The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

Cork becuase Longford would be a disgrace in Europe.Plus despite Longford coming from the depths of the first division to becoming a regular prem divison, fai cup winning, outfit, I feel their own fans have let them down. All that early succes yet their supporters dwindled away. Now I dont know why, but on the face of it seems that supporters werent too interested. Real pity they got relegated.

Although I'd love to see Longford win as some reconsiliation for the FAI sending them down; you cannot deny the fact that Cork are a lot more equiped for Europe/Setanta than a first division club would be...
Sending Longford into europe would not do this league the justice. Therefore I have to be up for cork. (That's my reasoning anyway)

Result so far is practically 50/50 - so nobody gives a f*** about either team really

For the record, i hope cork win

sadly a lot of this is true, but there are a few of us who love the club and have followed the town the length and breath of this country and further afield.if we win the cup then we will be in europe on merit , regardless of what division we are in, and so what if we are a "DISGRACE"in europe.its no ones concern but our own

I hear ya man but its the points coefficient that people are on about, it has a knock on effect on al clubs.
