I dont know, its a reasonably high profile job in europe,and as he said, he wants to be in europe. If he is genuine about what he says in the sunday sh1tewipe above, then he would be ideal. I like the idea of a dutchman (is martin Jol stil in the frame/was he ever?) in charge and I think it would be the change that may turn things around. Can't believe that, club experience in Europe and international football. Interest in managing Ireland. As all the rumoured managers find jobs, I get more and more despondant. We need a definite managerial candidate that the fans can get behind and soon.
He has found his correct level there. We need to make sure we dont get our heads turned by overseas managers like Haan and Troussier. Hodgson, Houllier and O'Leary are my top 3.
