The Football Association of Ireland today moved to its new headquarters at the National Sports Campus in Abbotstown after over half-a-century in 80 Merrion Square, Dublin. The association’s 160 staff will be based at the new facility which will be officially opened on Wednesday, December 5, by Seamus Brennan, TD, Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism with Michel Platini, President of UEFA.

The FAI might have 160 staff but I presume less than half work out of HQ? 160 seems exceptionally high Admin staff.

takes a lot of people to make sure that no one person is accountable for any decision

i know the LFA and a most of the other leagues are moving to that headquaters aswell. 160 prob includes these and academy coaching staff

At least they have the new online yokamajig for applying for tickets, Abbotstown would have been a long trek out on my bike when as per usual I wait to the last day to send in my application form.

I know i know, but when pj gallaghar called and explained that the gag was to let domo know auditions were on going for an energy drink and they wanted real managers, well, he jumped at it. would you believe after he found out about the gag he went on to ask "do you think i'll be picked for the advertisement?"

    stojkovic, do we know you?

No even better was at the presentation after the tournament when Gallagher arrived poor Domo was stuck to him like they were childhood friends. Still don't think he understood the wind up
