Actually you lot in Athlone don't know how lucky you are with your plush midlands location!
The ball is round and has many surprises.
plush read swamped every time the shannon floods, but no to be fair to the athlone man hes right its only recently our citys elders have noticed the biggest river in ireland flows by. most of the time they just used it as a toilet but now a place to spit and more oh yes.....worth a visit??? oh and about harps having to play all there matches away, they dont! Sligo, Galway, Monaghan, and maybe even athlone are virtual darbies for those lads.

Ah, calling Harps games derbies is probably stretching is just abit. Themselves and Cobh are far enough away, but as it happens, we have both of them at home twice this season!
Everyone else is pretty much within a radius of Dublin, or a few miles outside it.

Yup, on the ball there. Now if only we could push Cobh a little more out to sea and get rid of it once and for all...Originally posted by atfconline
