Yeah I think you are right there Lopez. I can't wait though.
I doubt it will be much more than 1.5K. It's hard to get to; it's expensive (the Dubrovnik route has been closed due to the Tans visiting Croatia, and the Bari option is more aggro than it's worth) with plane tickets now nearly €400; it's midweek; it's the start of the campaign rather than a make or break game or a playoff; and as far as I know there isn't anyone on the Montenegro side who plays for either Liverpool or Manchester (correct me iof I'm wrong on the last one). Judging this with our midweek visits to Romania in 1997, or to Belgrade in 1998, this is not a game I would have thought many fans fancy.
This is the cooooooooooooolest footy forum I've ever seen!

In Trap we trust
with the appointment of trappa i can see alot more interest in this fixture.

It is a hard one to call, i'd say you get a few arseholes, but not as many as ITaly, Cyprus and Bulgaria (much easier to get to)
I'd say Majik's mates will find it hard to find a tacky red light zone so they may as well stay at home or go to Prague for the few days.
Anyway, for those interested in the football and to find their way about the city etc....this map is great thanks to the kind help of 2 Montenegro posters on virtual tourist. Hvala lepo!

1500 max.will travel.
Clearly many of you have blind optimism, as to how hard this place is to get to!
i think now the direct-ish route from aer lingus is booked out to dubrovnik, that will put a lot off.
Montenegro only has commercial rail links with Serbia, so this looks like a nightmare of planes, trains, and automobiles. Staying in Dubrovnik/Belgrade for most of the time looks a decent bet, and just going in to Montenegro for the game.Originally Posted by AidoM

i know mypost, imagine having to travel to new places we don't know much about, awful scary aspect. Think i'll cancel my flights...![]()
For those going by train - looks a scenic route

Easy with the Dubs comments, like everywhere we have our scumbags. And I thought we all only went for the drink cos the football is usually garbage. Why would anyone want to video their train journey??
It's looking bleak if you want to go to Montenegro. All hotel rooms in Podgorica that can be booked online are gone. The other hotels require that you email a reservation request, but I'm getting no reply from them. Presumably because they are all booked up too?
Does anybody reckon they will be flying straight into Podgorica or is the flight to Dubrovnik forst generally considered the better option? its not going to be cheap getting to podgorica from dubrovnik. €200 for a taxi anyway.
cheers
