Aer lingus fly into dubrovnik from dublin the day of the game for 80 snots, arriving 11.45 dubrovnik..
Is that cutting it fine?
Also, is this not their 1st competitive home fixture? will the home seats not be totally sold out? 1200 isnt an awful lot..
Green tribe !! sort out the bloody bus from dubrovnik ! AidoM will help you :-)
Was he crazy!! Yeah , in a very special way , an Irishman.

I woke, and found that life was Duty.
It's 12,000 and it's their 2nd home competitive game as they play Bulgaria the previous saturday.
I've never been to Montenegro but I have been to nearby countries such as Macedonia and Albania and tickets normally are not a problem. Still hard to know though. We will bring more than 1200 so some travelling fans will have to rely on getting tickets in the home end.
I think you are cutting it fine. You'll probably make it OK via a taxi or rental car. It will depend on kickoff time too and tv will help dictate that. If their lights are not up to scratch there could be a daytime kickoff too.
didnt realise england were in croatia that night , makes things even more complicated

Anyone know how far zadar is from Podgorica
Any info I can find on the stadium gives its capacity as 17,000. If the estimates of 2,000 Irish travelling are accurate, we might be okay. I know that if our allocation is strictly 10% of capacity we would be a few hundred short but depending on what way segregation etc. is worked out, we could well get 2 or 3 thousand tickets
The demand would be much higher if the game was on a Saturday. But as its midweek it will put some people off even before thinking about the game coming after Georgia match.
England are playing in nearby Croatia, but they'll all be based in Zagreb, well away from Dubrovnik, so wouldn't be that worried. Scotland are playing over the border that night in Macedonia, so we might run into each other again at some point.
Does anyone know how far a drive is Podgorica actually from Dubrovnik . Google maps will not give driving directions.
Dubrovnik to Pogrodica is about a 90 min drive. I emailed info@taxidubrovnik.com inquiring price of bue to Pogrodica and the reply:
Thanks for your e-mail and interest in our service. The price of
minibus hire (15 seater minibus) would be 250 euros one way.
Reasonable enough i think.

A few years ago I travelled Dubrovnik to Spilt. A great journey if you are not hungover. It a bus ride along the coast all the way, spectacular views but not good for the stomach. Croatia is a great country and Dubrovnik is spectacular and I would recommend it. I am going to try to get to Sarajevo when I am over there.
