It helps to have a stop for a long flight, only time I went with a direct package the flight over was at 5 in the morning and a killer. Then instead of making your own way at your leisure, we were all shoehorned into a dingy bus, which had to leave at the same time as every other bus.

You had to do city tours at times set by the travel agent, and the whole stay was the minimum possible at the maximum price. Don't ask about the flight back!!

The last trip I was on in Slovakia and Prague was independent, 11 days long, cost half the price of the packages, and was better value for money.

Teh is that the bulgaria air flight at 6pm. Theres 7 of us on that flight. Havnt heard of many others though!

Hey , were flying on the Thursday with ryanair to london at 6pm then london to sofia with wizzair
Arrive in sofia 3am ( really 1am irish time )

End of the day it really doesn't matter how you get there or where you stay, as you'll be out in pubs for the majority of the time.

As it happens we are going on BA (free drink) and staying in a Suite at the Radisson

Are you staying in the Sveta JT? Im on the same flight as you and staying in the Sveta. How are you planning on getting from the Airport to the hotel? I wonder do they do pick ups if there is a few of us?

Hiya, im not sure i heard its only supposed to be a few Lev in a taxi. I collected my currency the other day

How many of you are there going to sveta there are 12 of us.
The crack will be ninty on the plane

Well I booked for 2 of us, and I gave the details to 4 other lads who have all booked up since so I presume they are going the same route!

Should be a great trip.One of the lads works in BOI and ordered our commission free Lev the other day!

Getting close now. We're booked up since early November!!

Excitement just kicking in now, really looking forward to this game, even if I don't get in to Sofia till close to midnight on the Friday. Hopefully the Irish fans aren't planning on being in bed to early on Friday?

This day 2 weeks i wont be here in work. Ill be at home getting ready to go the Airport for 3pm
