The Hold Steady seem to be an interesting, quirky sort of band. I haven't heard too much of them (Stuck Between Stations, and a couple of other tracks on Youtube) I can't make up my mind whether I really like them or not. Anyone got their album ? Is it any good ?

Good songs - some great, even - but it sounds awful - compressed to f**k; hard to listen to all the way through -sounds like it was recorded to be listened to on an ipod

That Ladytron song must have been released 3/4 years ago. Class song though, couple of good ones on the album too.
