Well all the problems will be solved when they move to the Maze. And when the North play the Republic at their new home let's all buy tickets for Block H

Hopefully there'd be a lock-in after the game!

BTW we don't 'hate' you because of who you are or what you do with your life.. as soon as you step into the football ground, on the opposite side, supporting the team that my team is playing against, you are the scum of the earth.. it is only for 90 mins, so don't worry about it. That applies to the supporters of any team that Linfield or Northern Ireland play.

Afterwards it is back to normal and I get to either slink away and cry, or have a few pints and slag off (usually new) friends in the pub after. (Or in Longford Dinny's case, go to a house and get totally blocked).
Football is a tribal game, and it is the emotion stirred up when your tribe plays that makes it a great game to watch.

For the record, if the Republic were to qualify, I would support them.. much the same as I would look out for England etc Obviously not the way I support my own country, but as we aren't there, it is as close as it gets.
