to any ok you UK based, do you know of any UK mobile phone contracts/networks which includes texting Ireland, (southern obviously), in their monthly text bundle?

keep clear from Three mobile. They charge about 25p a text (to the South) and since I've joined up I always end up forking out 10-15 extra on top of my monthly contract with the texts I send back home. O2 only used to charge me 12p a text for Ireland. If you do find an answer please let me know because I'd swap over!

I've looked into this myself Crafty and didn't come across any at the time. I've a contract with Vodafone which is great value to be fair but when you are charged 20p for every text to an Irish mobile then it adds a fair few quid onto the monthly charge.

Register with your moblie operator's website and you can log in and send free texts. No bother at all.

its only 02 lads in ireland that ye can do that. it wont work here for international.
BTW, easymobile i think are 8p or something. dont know how reliable they are though.

I've emailed every British mobile network at some stage, and they all said they had no such offers. I'm on a virgin contract and costs me 20p for every text home. I also have a meteor phone and you can text home for 20c on that, so I carry the two of them around!
